Canine Weight Maintenance Diet

This formula is designed for “‘Weight Challenged’” and/or ‘Senior’” dogs. Pets First has developed a specific diet that is nutritionally balanced and focuses on your Weight Challenged dog. Optimal weight is the goal of every pet guardian. This diet not only reduces the fat intake while increasing fiber BUT still maintains a high meat content for your pet. It can be used in ‘all life stages’ but is best utilized when your pet becomes less active or overweight due to age or injury.

This diet can also be used in conjunction with the Earth Options Chicken and Brown Rice formulation. This utilization is recommended for Large Breed dogs.

High Quality Proteins

This formula uses Chicken Meal as the primary protein source. Earth Options uses only ‘Guaranteed Ethoxyquin FREE’ Chicken Meal in its formulations. We also use Wild Salmon and Whole Dried egg as protein sources. Our Wild Salmon provides an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acid.

Quality Fats

Earth Options uses only the highest quality Chicken fat in its diets. Our Chicken fat is guaranteed Ethoxyquin free. A generous portion of Sunflower Oil and the addition of Flax Oil helps give our formulas a wonderfully balanced Omega fatty acid profile. Your dog will not only appear healthy on the outside but all his major systems will be optimally fed by our formulations.

Quality Carbohydrates, Fruit and Vegetables

Earth Options uses only human grade carbohydrate sources such as Whole Brown Rice, Whole White Rice, Hulless Barley, Whole Potatoes, Whole Apples, Whole Cranberries, Whole Blueberries, Whole Carrots. These provide sustained and balanced energy levels.

NO Corn, NO Wheat, NO Glutens and NO undefined ingredient sources.

Antioxidants, Chelated Minerals and other Healthy additions

Earth Options contains a guaranteed amount of Glucosamine HLC and Chondroitin to aid in joint support. We add Beta Carotene for additional protection against Free Radicals as well as generous portion of Norwegian Dried Kelp to provide the trace minerals necessary to maintain great health. We add Chelated minerals to help with mineral absorption. We also include Yucca Schidigera in this formula.

All of our formulas are slow cooked at low temperatures in small batches. All of our formulas are NATURALLY preserved.
